Make Planters with Personality
Make Planters with Personality
Join us in the studio to create one-of-a-kind, functional clay planters with faces!
In this all-abilities workshop you will learn how to transform about 2.5lbs of clay into a round pot using our wall extruder, coiling and sculpting techniques. You will also learn how to add definition, expression and shape to faces on the front of your planter. Pots are approximately 4-6" in diameter and 4-6" in height when finished.
Planters are ready to glaze (if desired) three weeks after making, and ready to take and fill with a plant (may we suggest our neighbors Modern Plantsman?) about a week after that.

Choose a date that works best for you. Pottery will be ready to take home and use approximately 3-4 weeks later.
Images are examples of the project that will be taught and facilitated in this workshop. Due to inherent variances in the natural materials and handmade process of pottery, all projects will be unique and different.
